Cottage-3 of approximately 300 such gingerbread cottages situated on an old Methodist Campground in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard. Today the Campground is a community of summer residents and a smaller number of year-round residents who value the intimacy created by the crowding of cottages on small tent lots. Many of the cottages have been owned by the same families for generations.
Vintage Coal Bucket
A real trash to treasure make-over. This poor bucket was dirty, rusted, and painted in dark red and black. Thanks to a can of cottage white spray paint and rose decals, I think its ready to hold my favorite magazines.
(the interior was spray painted with two different colors, a sky blue and celery green, to get the perfect shade of robin's egg blue.
